The Roman Road

Last week in homegroups, Sam had us look deep into the Roman Road. There was so much information that we wanted to make sure that everyone had a copy. The Bible study was inspired by the book entitled Radical, by David Platt. You can click on the link to view parts of the book, a year-long challenge, as well as more information on his Bible study specifically for the book. This is also great information to be familiar with so that you can be comfortable with sharing the gospel with people around you. Remember, the call on your life is to spread the gospel and make disciples of faith. Just because you may not be a missionary does not excuse you from this!

1.     1. All people have knowledge of God.
Romans 1:16-20

2.     2. All have rejected God
Romans 1:21-22

3.    3. All are guilty before God.
Romans 1:28-32, Romans 2:2, 8, 12, 23-24, Romans 3:12-19, 23

4.     4. All are condemned for rejecting God
Romans 3:20

5.     5. God has made a way of salvation for the lost
Romans 3:21-22

6.     6. People cannot come to God apart from faith in Christ.
Romans 3:21-31, Romans 5:1-11, Romans 10:9-13

7.    7.  Christ commands the church to make the gospel known to all people.
Mt. 28:18-20, Luke 24:45-49, Romans 10:14-15

*These steps from the book of Romans are outlined in the book Radical by David Platt
