C3 Youth News
September is already here and this newsletter will let you know what is going on around c3 Youth. With Baby Holmes due on September 5th, events will be lighter for the month of September. Mid-week home groups for Jr. High as well as a morning Bible study for Sr. High will be starting back up the first week of October. The students are asking for more service opportunities, so we will be putting together some service dates as well.
Sam and Kristen will be on maternity leave for a while during September but there are leaders and parents who will be stepping up to lead while they are out and Sam will still be available via cell phone or email.
Please keep the students in your prayers as they return to school and please be praying for Kristen and the baby for a safe delivery. As always, you can reach us by emailing ask.samandkristen@gmail.com or calling (336) 998-0600.

A.M. Breakout will not be meeting on 9/11 due to Camp Cornerstone. If you are interested in providing doughnuts for the students for any of the Sundays in September, please let us know!
Youth Events/Service Opportunities:
9/1: Davie Sportsman Banquet… We are looking for 5-6 students to volunteer to help with serving and clean up for the banquet. Students will need to be at the church close to 4pm and be willing to serve until about 9pm. If you are interested in serving, please let Sam know.
9/17: Possible Carwash Fundraiser (10am-1pm) …Details to come.
9/19: Cordero de Dios Food Outreach (4-7pm): Please let us know if you need a ride from the church. Cordero is now located on Althea Street behind Bojangles on Waughtown Street in Winston-Salem.
9/25: Church-wide Baby Shower for Sam, Kristen, and Baby Holmes (2pm) …Ladies of the church are invited to come and celebrate the birth of Baby Holmes and you may even get to peek at the bundle of joy!
9/30 Aqua @ Davie High … Games, Worship, & Outreach immediately following Homecoming. Students are encouraged to invite friends to this event sponsored by several churches in the area. If you are a parent and interested in volunteering with the event, let Sam know. More details to come.
