A.M. Breakout...
is the Sunday school program for c3 Youth and is focused on growing deeper in your relationship with God. Leaders challenge students to get into the Word and learn how to acknowledge when and what God is speaking to them. We start at 8:55 a.m. in the Cafe Room with doughnuts and OJ/Milk and classes start shortly after 9:00 a.m. Below, you can find the topics and questions that we discuss weekly along with the Scriptures that we study. All students 7-12th grade are invited.
Semester 1: Foundations
*March 6- The Story of God
1. God reveals Himself to us through the Scriptures.
2. What the Scriptures say about themselves (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
3. The Big Picture- Old Testament and covenants
What is a covenant? What are some covenants that we see in the Old Testament? (Abraham, Moses, Prophecies of the Messiah)
4. The Big Picture- New Testament and covenants
Fulfillment of Prophecy of Jesus, Jesus serving as the Ultimate sacrifice
5. Living in covenant with God (John 3:1-21)
What does it mean to be in covenant with God?
The theme of the Bible is God reconciling us to Himself. (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)
*March 13- Getting into God’s story: Seeking God by developing a Biblical Lifestyle
-What are some ways that we get into the Bible?
As you read these Scriptures, look for words like law, Word, precepts, commands that reference the Bible.
1. Hearing (Romans 10:5-17)

5. Memorizing (Psalm 119)
*Doing a Word study is a great way to study the Bible. Check out biblegateway.com or Youversion.com. Here, you can type in a keyword and a list of references will come up. You can also use the glossary of index in the back of your Bible. It is not as inclusive as the websites but it’s a great start!
